Complimentary introductory call

A free 15-minute telephone or online call to briefly discuss your circumstances, what you are looking for and whether I may be able to help.

Initial parent consultation — £80

A 60-minute consultation to explore your concerns in more detail, including your child's development, emotional wellbeing and family circumstances. We can then consider what type of support may be most appropriate.

Assessment — £70 per session

Assessment usually takes place over several sessions. This allows time to understand the child or young person's difficulties, relationships, development and emotional world.

An assessment commonly involves three to four sessions with the child or young person, followed by a parent review. The exact structure will depend on age, developmental needs and the reason for referral.

There is no requirement to purchase an assessment package in advance. Each appointment is charged individually.

Ongoing psychotherapy — £70 per session

Individual psychodynamic psychotherapy for children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25.

Parent consultation — £70 per session

Parent work may take place alongside a child's psychotherapy, as part of an assessment, or as a therapeutic intervention in its own right.

Under-5s & Parent–Child Work

For babies and younger children, therapeutic work often involves working closely with parents or carers.

This may include:

  • Parent–child psychotherapy

  • Developmental observation

  • Parent consultation

  • Support with behaviour, relationships and communication

  • Understanding emotional and developmental needs

£70 per 50-minute session, following an initial parent consultation.

Professional Services

I also provide consultation, supervision and reflective practice for professionals, teams and organisations working with children and young people.

  • Individual clinical supervision: £80 / 50 minutes

  • Team reflective practice: from £100

  • Professional consultation & network meetings: fee agreed in advance

  • Training, service consultation & development: bespoke fees available

Reports & Additional Work

Brief routine communication relating to ongoing clinical work is normally included.

More detailed reports, professional letters, attendance at meetings or other substantial additional work are charged separately. Any additional fee will always be discussed and agreed in advance.

Reduced-Fee Places

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may occasionally be available, depending on individual circumstances and current capacity.

Please feel welcome to enquire about availability.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Psychotherapy is usually offered at a regular weekly time, which is reserved specifically for you or your child.

Because this appointment is held exclusively for you and cannot usually be offered to another family at short notice, the full session fee is payable for cancelled or missed appointments, regardless of the amount of notice given.

There is no charge for appointments cancelled by me or for sessions that fall during my planned periods of leave.

Any planned breaks or changes to the regular arrangement can be discussed together.

Payment

Payment arrangements, fees and appointment frequency will be agreed before treatment begins.
